Private Jet Hire

Everybody wants to be a millionaire. It should not even be a question of why people want to be one but a question of how they will achieve that status. With the current global recession, it is very hard for an ordinary Joe to achieve millionaire status even of he keeps every paycheck he has for the rest of his life.

Well, nobody got rich overnight but a lot of people died trying and only a handful of them succeeded. It may be a hard thing to achieve but today you can achieve millionaire status just by faking it! Yes, you can do that and no one will ever know the difference. One way of having that millionaire experience is by flying with a private jet. The private jet business has been around for quite sometime now.

In the past, private jets were only bought by those people who are very rich. Those people would include royalty, high profile celebrities, and a some Chief Executive Officers of different companies. Now that the average person has gone bored of flying on a commercial plane even at first class seats, the private jet for hire business was born.

This business caters to people who hate all the traffic on land or those people who have lost their taste for first class commercial airplanes. These jets can bring you anywhere in the world at anytime.

It is a highly expensive business and it almost functions like your normal limousine business. If you need a private jet, all you need to do is to call a couple of people from the business and you can have that millionaire experience in no time.

This business mostly works on reservations just like a normal airplane business but if you are able to pull some strings then maybe you might not need one. This only works for those who are extremely rich and popular. These services do not come cheap. The smallest among that you can pay for these private jets would be around $8,000 USD. It mostly depends on the type of aircraft you need and the maximum seating capacity.

You can have a private jet for a round trip or a one way trip. In some arrangements, especially in one way trips, you would have to pay for the plane twice if they are not able to get passengers back to its point of origin. This is the biggest reason why people would opt to go for a round trip.

If you were only going to spend this much, why not go all the way? You can choose from a variety of companies who offer these types of services and they are available on the net. Some of them could also give you an estimate price quote.

You can also choose what type of aircraft you may need such as a six to eight seater aircraft with fine in flight service crew, or a simple helicopter just to get away from traffic. Whatever the purpose may be or whatever aircraft you may want to hire, these things can truly get you wherever and whenever you want.

Private Jets Rental

Private jets are becoming more and more popular everyday. Private jet rentals are very expensive and a lot of people do not consider private jet rentals as cost effective. However, the cost effectiveness of private jet rentals (or anything for that matter) cannot be judged in absolute terms. It has to be considered on a relative basis.

The key thing here is to determine the value of your time and then compare it with the cost of private jet rentals. Again, this has to be considered not just in terms of the time you are saving by avoiding queues or by avoiding multiple security checks but also in terms of the time you are saving by proactively preventing the backache or tiredness caused by other normal flights.

Any kind of stress or tiredness prevented by use of private jet rentals is also your gain in terms of saving your next day or next few hours. Moreover, a super comfortable flight (through private jet rentals) can increase your work efficiency (or make your family vacation even more effective for you).

When it comes to business use of private jet rentals, the justifications go even beyond the value of time. In business, speed can sometimes create the difference between you getting a deal and losing a deal. With private jet rentals, you are no more dependent on flight schedules. You are the boss and you decide the flight schedules as per your needs.

Sometimes you might be working on two or more deals at the same time which requires you (or your best sales person) to quickly move from one place to another. In such cases, you can forego the dependency on airline flights and use private jet rentals to move quickly from one place to another.

So, there are a lot of benefits associated with private jet rentals. However, these benefits have to be looked into from the perspective of the value of your time. For a lot of people, private jet rentals are in fact very cost effective.

Private Jet Charter – Gaining New Ground

Danielle Weston had a big problem. The busy Chicago administrative assistant was under orders to find a flight for her boss and two colleagues, from Chicago to San Francisco – nonstop – departing that evening. Unfortunately for Danielle, she was not given these instructions until 3:30 in the afternoon. As she perused the internet and various airline sites she quickly discovered that meeting these criteria would be impossible, given the time constraints.

As she was about to admit defeat and inform her boss of her failure, she noticed an advertisement for private jet charter. She clicked on it and found that getting a flight with charter was not only easy, but fast. After submitting and receiving price approval from her boss, she made the reservations and was able to secure a flight leaving in three hours’ time.

Private Jet Charter – Air Travel for the New Millennium

Stories like Danielle’s are becoming more and more common as commercial airlines attempt to tighten their belts and lower their budgets by reducing both the number or airline personnel and the amount of flights per day – even those to and from popular destinations. The cutbacks have often forced travelers to make flights at inconvenient times or postpone important flights.

In addition, airlines have resorted to “bumping” passengers from overbooked and overcrowded flights in order to keep them going on schedule. This practice has become so prevalent with some major airlines that there are entire websites devoted to complaints about it. The private jet charter industry has actually benefited from the way that airlines treat customers, as more and more people seek alternatives to commercial air travel that will accommodate their schedules.

Private Jet Charter – Cost vs. Convenience

Private jet charter, although substantially more expensive than standard air travel, has gained in popularity due to flexibility and convenience. The flight leaves when it is scheduled by the client, at the most opportune time, leaving a charter client free to travel at his or her own pace rather than a rigid schedule dictated by an airline. Security checkpoints, baggage checks, and boarding are also much more streamlined for air charter passengers.

There is no mystery to booking a private jet charter. It can be done online at the touch of a button, similar to using travel websites to book a standard flight. The professional charter brokers at Jetset Charter have had years of experience helping to match fliers with charter operators, and have built up an excellent reputation for service, convenience, and competitive pricing. Why have a Charter Broker when you can go directly to the operator?

This is a topic that I discuss all the time with existing clients and prospect clients. I often see clients trying to go the operator directly and the one thing I always see happening in the end is that they went directly to them and they got burned. They then call me back and say I was put on so and so’s plane and it had a horrible interior and did not have enough baggage.

The reason for this is because when you call an operator they put you only on the planes they have in their fleet. Some operators do use other fleets but most of them use their own fleets. So if I called in as a retail client and said I need a Gulfstream G-550 for LA to Europe and they didn’t have one they would quote you on something in their fleet that may work.

If you had a charter broker, they would find you the best deals all the time, on the best and newest aircraft. At least I do. There are some charter brokers that try to maximize their profit by putting you on the cheapest aircraft that will work for your mission.

The difference between a charter broker and an operator is that the charter broker has access to over 16,000 aircraft worldwide, where as the operator only has a few. Another plus for having a charter broker is that they will look for one ways and empty legs when you have a trip coming up. For example, I have a client flying from Hawaii to California this April one way.

Normally a local charter operator in Hawaii or California would charge him $50k+ for the one way. This time he is on a true one way and is only paying $41k. That is because I have been looking for an empty leg for him for over two months in advance.

If you had a local operator quote you a one way price from LA to New York they would charge you a round trip price, where as charter brokers know to look into one way operators. And there are only a handful in the USA that do it. You could pay between $50k-$60k for a one way with the local operator, where as with a one way operator you would pay between $26-35k for the one way.

That is the plus for having a charter broker in these situations. Yes it may cost you 10% on top of that flight charge, but the charter broker just saved you a ton of money for just that one flight.

So if you were looking to charter a jet in Los Angeles and only knew a few operators, you may be missing better operators. And of course if you called your local operator they wouldn’t say by the way did you call so and so with that Hawker 1000, because they want to sell you only on their fleet and not other people’s fleet.

A charter broker looks at everyone’s fleet all the time, gets quotes from all of them and then tells you what they would recommend. There are some charter brokers that I see now who have no idea what aircraft to use for that mission and it drives me nuts because they shouldn’t be in this business.
